Description:
B-408 is a paper with a removable adhesive and a topcoat specifically formulated for thermal transfer printing.

B-408 is designed for general labeling and bar coding applications where the label needs to be removed and possibly repositioned.

B-408 is designed to be removable after 30 days from cardboard, stainless steel, glass and polypropylene when used at ambient conditions.

Recommended ribbon is the Brady Series R6100.

* Different types of cardboard and corrugated material will yield varied results. B-408 is not recommended for use with wax coated corrugated cardboard.

The following testing is performed with B-408 thermal transfer printed on a BradyPrinter™ THT 200M, 300X, and 600X Plus using a Brady Series R6100 ribbon. Samples laminated to glass, stainless steel, polypropylene, smooth ABS and cardboard panels. All samples allowed to dwell 24 hours prior to testing.

Humidity Resistance 30 days at 100°F (37°C), 95% R.H. Labels exposed to elevated humidity conditions will have decreased adhesion to the underlying substrate. No visible effect to print.

Product testing, customer feedback, and history of similar products, support a customerperformance expectation of at leasttwo years from the date of receipt for this product as long as this product is stored in its original packaging in an environment below 80 degrees F and 60% RH . We are confident that our product will perform well beyond this time frame. However, it remains the responsibility of the user to assess the risk of using such product. We encourage customers to develop functional testing protocols that will qualify a product's fitness for use, in their actual applications.
